In Gboko, Benue State, a young woman finds herself in a difficult situation after being apprehended for allegedly stealing a goat. While details of the incident remain unclear, it was reported that she was captured a few days ago.
Ahar Galu, who shared the news on Sunday, December 3, 2023, revealed that he spoke with the accused woman and discovered that she is a single mother of two.
Galu mentioned that some individuals have expressed interest in assisting the woman by offering either employment opportunities or helping her start a business.
In a post, Galu stated,
“THE STOLEN GOAT SAGA. I have just communicated to the lady in question, she doesn’t have phone so it was through a neighbor and secondary school friend at Tom-Ahaa street, Gboko.
“I will subscribe for the friend tomorrow morning so we have a video call for confirmation. Anticipate details tomorrow morning meanwhile my 5k support for her is ready, please let’s support her in order to thwart both the remote and immediate causes of this ugly act. The aim is to establish even if it’s a mini business for her. Meanwhile she has two kids without a husband.
“I’m NOT encouraging Thieves but I know and believe a woman won’t wake up a day and indulge in a theft case, she must have exhausted her godly means to survive….., If you know this woman in person, let her send account details for 5k support from Ahar-Galu Jnr Tv.
“I also wish to know if she has any certificate higher than SSCE so she can get monthly paid job to be fending for herself. As a last born that was so loved and pampered by his late mother who died when I couldn’t afford #100 Ice- fish for her, I have undiluted care and love for any mother or woman worth being a mother by age.”
