A young woman named Alice has been apprehended by the Ogun State Police Command in connection with the suspected murder of her married lover. The incident occurred in the Itori Ewekoro area of the state, where Alice allegedly stabbed Ayinde Isreal to death in his own home.
According to sources, Isreal’s wife had left with their one-year-old child to celebrate Ileya, providing an opportunity for him to invite his extramarital partner over. An altercation ensued between them, escalating to a point where Alice allegedly used a knife to fatally stab him on Tuesday evening, June 27.
A reliable source revealed, “The victim was a married man whose wife had gone to his family’s house to celebrate Ileya. He took advantage of her absence and brought his lover to their matrimonial home on the same day. They had an argument, resulting in the girl stabbing him in the neck. Despite being rushed to two different hospitals, he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. The girl is currently in custody at the Ifo police station, here in Ogun state.”
