Aisha Bello Mustapha, a retired and celebrated broadcaster from the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), has passed away, leaving Nigerians saddened by the news.
The announcement of her death on Monday triggered an outpouring of reactions across the country.
“Innalilahi wa inna Alaihin Rajiun. May Allah forgive our Mother Hajia Aishat Bello Mustapha. Mama, indeed, you are a very kind-hearted person. We will miss you and hope you are enjoying Rahma,” expressed the family in a statement, reflecting on her compassionate nature.
The cause of Aisha Bello Mustapha’s death remains undisclosed. A funeral prayer is scheduled to take place at the Central Mosque in Abuja at 1 pm on the same day, providing an opportunity for friends, family, and colleagues to pay their respects.
Aisha concluded her remarkable 35-year career in broadcasting when she retired from active service in May 2022. Her legacy in the field is remembered as the nation mourns the loss of this distinguished figure.
