Shortly after today’s plenary session, Senator Ned Munir Nwoko warmly welcomed a delegation comprising committee of Councillors and local governments’ vice chairmen from Delta North to his senate office at the National Assembly.
The committee, who were originally in Abuja for a five-day seminar on leadership training, decided to pay a visit to Senator Nwoko, recognizing his accessibility and commitment to serving the people.
Expressing his gratitude, Senator Nwoko commended their thoughtfulness and encouraged them to consider his senate office as the Anioma embassy within the National Assembly, a space where constituents from the senatorial district are always welcomed and valued.
Senator Nwoko took the opportunity to propose a dinner meeting with the delegation at his residence in Maitama, scheduled for tomorrow, July 12. This gathering would provide an ideal setting for an in-depth discussion on matters of importance to the constituency.
Among the delegation were, Hon. Ifeanyi Felix Okoloba, Deputy Leader Oshimili south legislative Arm, Delta State, Hon. Ify Ogbogu, Vice Chairman Oshimili South Local Government, Hon. Tina Amuzia, Vice Chairman Aniocha North, Hon. Patience Agbonma, Vice Chairman Ika South, Hon. Damian, Leader Ndokwa East Legislative Arm, Hon.
