Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) candidate in the last presidential election, took to his official Twitter account to express his concerns about the uncertain future of Nigeria.

He lamented the troubled state of the nation’s democracy, emphasizing the undermining of its foundational pillars through impunity, violence, and bloodshed.

Obi criticized the absence of selfless leaders who prioritize national interests, sustainable development, and innovative thinking that safeguard the freedom of choice, protection of lives and property, and ordered liberties of every Nigerian.

Despite the current bleak situation, the former governor of Anambra State maintained that the vision of transforming Nigeria into a great democratic nation is still achievable.

He reassured the Nigerian people of his unwavering commitment and promised that he and the LP would persist in their fight to bring about a leadership that genuinely prioritizes their needs and aspirations.
