The annual traditional festival known as ‘Kayokayo’ has begun in the Epe Local Government Area of Lagos State. This festival is observed in remembrance of the arrival of King Kosoko and his warlords to Eko-Epe in 1851. It also marks the start of the new Islamic Calendar Year.
