Jada Pinkett Smith, the renowned American actress and talk show host, has recently unveiled her true sentiments regarding her union with actor Will Smith.
This American couple, whose marriage ceremony took place at the Cloisters Castle in Baltimore, Maryland back in 1997, didn’t experience the marital bliss Jada had initially hoped for.
During a conversation on her popular talk show, Red Table Talk, she disclosed that her marriage wasn’t her personal choice and was influenced by external factors, notably her mother’s insistence due to her pregnancy.
In her own words, Jada recounted,
“I was so upset that I had to have a wedding. I was so pissed. I was crying. I cried the whole wedding. I really didn’t want to get married. I was under so much pressure being a young actress and pregnant. I didn’t know what to do. But I knew I never wanted to be married. The wedding was horrible. I was three months pregnant at the wedding.”
