Funke Akindele achieves remarkable feat as her new movies become “highest-grossing films”

Nollywood luminary, Funke Akindele, has achieved a remarkable feat in the Nigerian film industry by dominating the top three highest-grossing movies at the Nigerian Box Office.

Her latest film, ‘A Tribe Called Judah,’ has now claimed the title of the highest-grossing Nollywood film. Not only did Akindele star in the movie, but she also took on the roles of producer and director.

With the film’s release in cinemas nationwide, she proudly announced this significant accomplishment. The overwhelming response from audiences has propelled ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ towards surpassing the 1 billion mark, highlighting its immense popularity and success.

According to the Nigerian box office, the film has already amassed an impressive 854 million views in cinemas, firmly establishing Akindele’s unrivaled influence in the Nollywood film industry.

The captivating storyline revolves around Jedidah Judah, portrayed by Akindele herself, a resilient single mother navigating the complexities of life while raising her sons, each fathered by different men.
