The senator representing Delta North senatorial district, Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, has spearheaded an impactful constituency project geared towards empowering the vibrant youth and resilient women of Anioma.
The visionary initiative focused on equipping aspiring entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge vital for success in today’s dynamic business landscape.
The grounds of Hotel Benizia in Asaba became a hub of enthusiasm and opportunity as hundreds gathered to partake in this inspiring endeavor on Saturday, November 25.
The Chairman of the occasion, Elder Moses Iduh, Delta North People’s Democratic Party chairman, expressed profound sentiments in his opening remarks. He highlighted that Senator Ned Nwoko was passionately chosen by the people to represent their voices, affirming that the Senator is living up to this mandate exceptionally well.
“Senator Ned Nwoko is an unwavering force—one that cannot be silenced or intimidated. He stands up for every individual and faces every challenge head-on. He is the first Senator in his set to kickstart empowerment programs within 5 months of assuming office.
“During the election campaign, he promised to prioritize youths empowerment, many wondered how he will achieve all the promises, but these programs going on today is an indication that he is capable and very committed in honouring his promises.
“We voted him to represent us and he is doing that just perfectly well and we appreciate him for this great feat. I am pleased with the smiles of hope and satisfaction on your faces, and I say to you that this is just the beginning of many good things to come in his tenure.” Elder Iduh stated.
Representing the Senator, Dr. Michael Nwoko, SSA on Health Monitoring to the Delta State governor and chief of staff of the Senator, in his keynote address emphasized that empowerment is not just a word but a catalyst for change. He stressed the pivotal role of entrepreneurship and empowerment in driving progress and prosperity.

It is truly admirable and worthy of note that within 5 months of assuming office, the Senator has kickstarted empowerment programs, becoming the first Senator in his set to accomplish such a feat.”

The beneficiaries hailed from all nine local government areas constituting the senatorial district, each receiving enlightening lectures and a grant of N150,000.
