Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino expressed his desire to offer support to Everton midfielder Dele Alli. Pochettino and Alli previously collaborated during their time at Tottenham Hotspur before Pochettino’s departure in November 2019.
Unfortunately, Alli’s performance has suffered a decline, both during his stint at Everton and his loan period with Turkish club Besiktas. However, with Alli now back at Goodison Park, Pochettino intends to reach out and explore possibilities for assisting the 27-year-old player.
“I plan to find some time to connect with him because he is a fantastic individual, and I would like to engage in a conversation to better understand his situation,” Pochettino stated. “My intention is to support him and gain insight into his current circumstances. Despite the challenges he has faced, he is still young and possesses the right mindset.”
While it has been a while since their last conversation, Pochettino is determined to reestablish contact and ascertain Alli’s current state.
