The senator representing Delta North senatorial district, Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, has approved the formation of the Employment Monitoring Committee.
The primary responsibility of this committee, as stated by the Senator’s office, is to collaborate with ministries, departments, and agencies of both the Federal Government and the Delta State Government to identify job vacancies and advise the Senator on engaging qualified individuals from the Delta North senatorial district.
This initiative aligns with the Senator’s campaign promise to utilize his political influence and resources to create job opportunities for his constituents and ensure that everyone is being carried along.
To ensure the effective execution of these responsibilities, the Senator has approved the establishment of three offices, each in Asaba, Agbor, and Kwale. These offices will maintain comprehensive databases of all constituents, available in both soft and hard copy formats. This database will assist the committee in identifying suitable candidates for specific job openings.
Heading the committee is Hon. Somadina Anwasia, with Akpokili Ambrose Omofewo (Abel Ambrose) serving as the secretary. Other committee members include Mr. Frank Nwandu, Jennifer Okolo, Alfred Idehen, Stanley Ehikwe, and Joseph Chukwuanlu.
The committee members are expected to commence their duties immediately.
