Hotel Beniza in Asaba once more became a hub of excitement and opportunity as over 300 constituents came together for yet another inspiring empowerment program led by Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko, the Distinguished Senator representing Delta North senatorial district.
Each participant received a grant of N100,000 following a high-capacity development training focused on women and youth empowerment. In his address, Senator Nwoko assured his constituents that more empowerment programs and landmark projects are on the way, emphasizing that while not everyone may be empowered at once, the benefits will eventually reach every household.
“That you’re empowered today doesn’t mean you will not be empowered again and again. By the time the empowerment reaches every household, we will start all over again. The forms of empowerment vary, including skill acquisition, training, and investment. Always express your concerns, highlight areas where we can improve, and acknowledge where we’ve succeeded,” he stated.
The event was further enlivened by the presence of his wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels-Nwoko, whose participation added color to the occasion, much to the delight of her fans.
This program marks the Senator’s 3rd phase of empowerment and grant funding. The first phase, held on November 25, 2023, saw over 200 constituents each receiving enlightening lectures and a grant of N150,000. The second phase, on June 29, 2024, empowered over 500 constituents with cash grants of N100,000 each after completing training on data-driven livestock feeding, alternative feed methods, and digital branding and social media management.
